We are open Good Friday and Easter Monday 10am to 4pm!

Brass Beds, Victorian beds, bedsteads and day beds. We hand craft metal beds in Cornwall using traditional Victorian foundry techniques. We believe we produce the best beds found anywhere in the world! Unlike any other factory in the UK (and we think the world) our beds are cast together with no bolts, no screws and no welds. Our beds have angle iron side rails, Victorian cast fixings and Victorian cast joints. They will last many lifetimes, just like an original Victorian bed.

After making brass and iron beds for the UK furniture industry for many years, we now offer our beds for sale direct to the public alongside a wide range high quality mattresses, bases and associated furniture. As bed manufacturers we know our beds and only sell quality products we trust and value.

Our factory is in Cornwall and we have showrooms in both Cornwall and Bristol.

The Cornish Bed company offers a bespoke service producing each bed to your individual requirements. Our knuckle beds will last lifetimes and will become an antique of the future. Our fixings have been engineered to exacting victorian standards and will offer a strong fixing that will never ware out. To see how we make our beds click on the Factory tour for pictures or our Factory video for more details. Each bed is made for each specific order and has a unique number that relates to your order each bed is signed and checked before it leaves the factory.

We compliment our brass beds and iron beds with a superb range of mattresses, wooden beds and bedroom furniture. All offered at competitive prices with excellent service.

Please note we must confess three of our newer designs have a tiny spot weld under the castings the Tetbury, Stirling and Cotswold - just three beds where a tiny spot weld holds a piece of metal in place before the casting is done!
